The micro sequencer sends out voltages based on the position of each of the 4 "step" knobs. Connect it to an oscillator and it will step through the "sequence" consecutively to make a melody (the LEDs tell you which step is active).
The four step knobs make it stupidly easy to dial in a melody by ear, and watching the LEDs march across in time is weirdly satisfying. I've been pairing it with an oscillator all afternoon and keep finding little riffs I'd never have written otherwise.
Plugged this into my oscillator and had a little melody going within minutes. The four step knobs make it stupidly easy to tweak the sequence on the fly, and watching the LEDs march along helps me keep track of where I am. Honestly the most fun I've had with a single module in a while.
