Soldering my own little sensor circuit onto this was way easier than I expected, since the VCC and ground buses are already wired to the snap connectors. The 0.1" spacing lines up perfectly with standard headers too. My 9-year-old and I had a working prototype in about twenty minutes.
It does what it says, the perfboard has a usable VCC and ground bus so I could wire up a quick prototype without soldering much. But the 0.1" grid gets cramped once you add more than a couple components, and for the price I expected a bit more room to work. Fine for simple little circuits, not so mu
