Soldering my own little sensor circuit onto this thing and snapping it into my existing setup worked on the first try, which honestly surprised me. The prototyping area has just enough room for a small custom bit without feeling cramped.

The proto board is exactly what I needed to design my own custom Bits without waiting on a new release. I soldered up a simple light sensor module in an afternoon and it snapped right into my existing circuit. Genuinely opens up the whole system for tinkerers.
