The fork gives you more options for connecting your Bits; it lets you connect a single Bit to as many as 3 others. If you place an input before the fork, it will control all 3 outputs at once, such as light, sound, and motion.
Splitting one input across three outputs at once is exactly what I needed for my little circuits. The fork clicks in just as snugly as the other Bits, and now a single sensor can trigger three different things without me rewiring everything.
The fork solves a problem I didn't even realize I had until I started building bigger circuits — one input now drives three outputs at once, which cleaned up my whole setup. Splitting a single signal across a motor, a light, and a buzzer without extra wiring feels like a small win every time.
