The branch Bit gives you more options for connecting your Bits: it lets you connect the output of a single Bit to as many as 3 others, oriented in different directions. Use it when you want to trigger light, sound and motion at the same time.
Didn't realize how much I needed this until my circuit got crowded. Being able to send one trigger out to three different modules at once, facing whatever direction I need, cleaned up my whole build. It just clicks in like the rest of the pieces.
Splitting one signal into three directions is exactly what I needed for my littleBits projects, and the branch clicks in just as securely as the other bits. Only gripe is that it's a bit bulky once three wires are plugged in, so it can crowd the board.
