I picked this up to trigger a motor when a toy car rolls past, and flipping the mode switch so it cuts off on contact works exactly how I hoped. The lever itself feels sturdy enough that my kid hasn't managed to snap it yet.

The little wheel on the lever makes it so satisfying to trigger, and flipping the mode switch so it cuts off when pushed instead of turning on is way more useful than I expected for my little ball-rolling setup.
