The NOR Bit is a logic gate with 2 inputs. It sends an ON signal only when neither input is receiving an ON signal. In other words, it’s the exact opposite of the OR Bit. The NOR Bit is good for inventions in which you want the output to be ON, unless 1 or both of its inputs are triggered.
Wasn't sure I'd actually use a logic gate in a build, but this one clicked once I paired it with two sensors. It only fires when both inputs are off, which is exactly the opposite behavior I needed for my project, and the snap connectors made swapping it in painless.
Wired this up with two buttons to lock a light until both are off, and the logic works exactly as described. The two inputs are clearly labeled, which made it easy to drop into my littleBits circuit. Genuinely the most useful gate I've picked up so far.
